GoFander Rules

GoFander's purpose is to facilitate communication between creators and followers. Violence, harassment and other such behaviors discourage people from speaking up and lead to impoverishment of conversation. We have established our rules to allow everyone to interact in freedom and safety.

Security

• Violence : You cannot threaten to use violence against an individual or group of people. The glorification of violence is also a prohibited behavior.

• Terrorism/violent extremism : you may not threaten or promote acts of terrorism or violent extremism.

• Child sexual exploitation : We have a zero tolerance policy on child sexual exploitation on GoFander.

• Abuse/Harassment : You may not harass anyone or incite others to do so. This includes wishing or expressing hope that someone will suffer physical harm.

• Hateful conduct : You may not promote violence against, threaten or harass other people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, class, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religion, age, disability or serious illness.

• Perpetrators of Violent Attacks : We will remove all accounts maintained by terrorist, violent extremist, or mass violent attackers, and we may also remove Content that disseminates posters or other content produced by such perpetrators.

• Self-harm and suicide : you may not promote or encourage self-harm or suicide.

• Sensitive, explicitly violent or adult content : You may not post or share excessively gory, violent, or adult content, whether in videos, profile images, or headers. You may not post or share content that shows sexual assault and/or violence either.

• Illegal or regulated goods and services : you may not use our services for illegal purposes or to support illegal activities. This includes the sale, purchase and trade of illegal or regulated goods and services.

Privacy

• Private information : You may not post or share other people's private information (such as phone number and address) without their explicit permission. It is also prohibited to threaten to disclose private information or to incentivize others to do so.

• Non-consensual nudity : You may not post or share intimate photos or videos of an individual made or distributed without their consent.

Authenticity

• Platform manipulation and spam : You may not use GoFander's services to artificially amplify or suppress information, nor adopt behaviors that manipulate or disturb the user experience.

• Civic integrity : You may not use GoFander's services to manipulate or interfere with elections or other civic processes. This includes posting or sharing content that may inhibit participation or mislead people about when, where or how to participate in a civic process.

• Misleading and deceptive identities : You may not impersonate any individual, group or organization in order to mislead, confuse or deceive other users, nor may you use a false identity to disrupt other users' experience on GoFander.

• Artificial and manipulated content : You may not deceptively share artificial or manipulated media content that could cause harm. We may also flag artificial and manipulated content to help users recognize its authenticity, as well as to provide additional information.

• Copyrights and Trademarks : you may not violate the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights and trademarks.

Rules enforcement and disputes

We assume that users do not intend to violate our Rules. Unless a violation is serious enough to cause an account to be suspended immediately, we try to educate users about our Rules first and give them the opportunity to correct their behavior. You will always be given the option to appeal.

Third-party advertising in video content

You may not submit, post or display any video content that includes third-party advertising, such as Sponsored Images or pre-roll video ads, on or through our services without our prior consent.
