What is GoFander?

GoFander is a subscription platform that allows Creators to showcase their work and receive payments easily and securely.

Who can use GoFander?

GoFander complies with the legal requirements regarding access to the web. The use of the platform is reserved for people over the age of 16. Depending on the nationality of each user and/or the country in which the site is accessed, usage restrictions may apply in accordance with the law.

What types of GoFander accounts are there?

There are two types of GoFander accounts, Creator and Supporter.
Creators are those who create digital content to offer to their audience or supporters, in fact.
The Supporters, on the other hand, are the fan-base of each creator, they are the public base that helps the Creator, supporting him and recognizing his work.

What kind of content can I show or find on GoFander?

GoFander was born to allow anyone who wanted to make their creativity and imagination profitable to do so.
We support every kind of creator (such as but not limited to: video creators, podcasters, musicians, visual artists, writers, communities, gaming, non-profits, education, local businesses and more) and any kind of content.
Feel free but respectful. We respect everyone and hope that all users of the platform agree to do the same. Simply put, treat others the way you’d like to be treated. For this reason, we reserve the right to eliminate, refuse or remove content that may be deemed harmful to the dignity and/or personal integrity of others.
Do you think that a content is offensive, harmful to personal dignity or incites hatred? Report it to us by writing to support. Remember to document your report. We will promptly initiate the investigation of the case.

Write an email or contact us via the appropriate form 'report a problem' by completing all the requested information. If you write us an email, remember to indicate which device you are using and which operating system you are using. I am not receiving emails from GoFander

If you don't receive emails from GoFander, here are the actions we suggest you take to ensure that our emails reach you:
Check your Spam, Junk, Promotions and Social folders
It is possible that our emails arrive in the less used sections.
If emails from GoFander arrive in your Spam folder, you can mark them as not junk so that subsequent emails you receive will appear in the your inbox.

I received a suspicious email. It is a scam?

Have you been asked for confidential information?

If you receive an email asking for your tax information, credit card number or other private or confidential information, do not reply and check before providing any information. Check that it's from a GoFander email domain (@gofander.com). If the sender's email is not a GoFander address, DO NOT disclose your personal information.

Please note that as a rule we do not ask for personal data outside the provisions of current regulations. We care about your privacy and know the importance of keeping your confidential information secure.
Note: when you suspect that an email you have received is fraudulent, send us a message from gofander.com/faq , attaching a full screen screenshot of the email you have received; in this way we will be able to confirm or not its legitimacy and, if necessary, report the bad guys.

Compensation

GoFander is not a bank or a payment service provider (PSP) but acts as an intermediary, allowing fans and creators to interact with each other and exchange money for the supply of digital content.

Since we are not a bank or a payment service, we rely on them to keep all transactions that take place on our platform secure. This obliges us to comply with certain laws and regulations but not only that, it also imposes technical times for processing and sending payments. If you have specific doubts or questions regarding payment processing, we recommend that you read the faq below and visit the dedicated page. Do you still have doubts? How can I cash out my earnings?

So, we've processed your supporters' payments: now we're getting you cashed out!. GoFander processes payments monthly. We will send you the previous month's earnings by the 15th of the current month. During this time we will try to process any declined payments to help you get as much revenue as possible. You will receive the money in a period between 1 and 5 working days from our confirmation of payment in your favour, depending on the collection method. If the operation takes longer than expected, please contact us. Payments will be made via Paypal or through bank transfer. Payments are made when the CHF 50 threshold is reached.

What are the costs for creators?

Don't forget that we too must survive! The commission for using the GoFander platform and related services corresponds to a percentage of the payments you receive from your supporters and which have been processed correctly. This commission is unique and is equal to 10% of the transaction + 0.55 CHF (Swiss Francs). There are no other hidden costs or fees. Visit the specific page for more details.

Monthly payments to creators will cost 0.50 CHF, and we are committed to sending the money efficiently and economically, as our mission is to provide creators with the best tools to manage relationships with their fans. We will continue to improve our platform with new features and find ways to save creators money. For this mission of ours, we have decided to adopt multiple payment providers in order to allow creators to collect as much money as possible and minimize bank fees, we emphasize that these fees are beyond our control and will be borne by the creator receiving the money.

Are there other forms of payment than PayPal?

We understand the need to diversify payment methods and we are working on it. We currently rely on PayPal because they are a serious, reliable and well-known payment service provider. We will definitely have alternatives in the future! Stay tuned!
